Our promise

Long Beach Pediatric Clinic, part of Cardin HealthCare, follows federal and California civil rights laws. We do not discriminate against, exclude or treat anyone differently because of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics), religion, ancestry, language or immigration status.

Free help for you and your family

• Language help: our staff speaks English and Spanish, and we can get a qualified interpreter for other languages at no cost to you
• Written materials in Spanish, including our intake forms
• Help for people with disabilities, such as sign language interpreters, large print and other formats, at no cost

If you feel you were treated unfairly

If you believe we did not provide these services or treated you unfairly, you can file a complaint with our office. Call (562) 492-9900 and ask for our Civil Rights Coordinator, or write to us at 2880 Atlantic Ave, Suite 170, Long Beach, CA 90806. We will help you file it if you need help.

You can also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, at ocrportal.hhs.gov or by calling 1 (800) 368 1019 (TDD 1 (800) 537 7697).
